The program spans 6 weeks. 2024 dates will be announced in July of 2024.
The program's enrollment deadline will be set as soon as we have 2024 dates set! However, we strongly encourage you to secure your spot as soon as you are certain about your participation. We have intentionally limited the program to a maximum of 10 participants to ensure a personalized and enriching experience for everyone involved. Additionally, to maximize your learning journey, there will be suggested reading materials provided in advance, so enrolling early will give you ample time to prepare and make the most of this unique opportunity.
Regular meeting times and days will be determined by the group, but generally we will meet on an afternoon Monday through Friday in the morning or afternnon. Sessions will run for 1 to 1.5 hours depending on the material covered.
No, this is for those with experience painting. This program is designed for individuals with a foundational understanding of art. If you are a beginner, we recommend considering enrolling in our program "Abstraction Beyond Boundaries: Color and Composition" before this advanced program.
We will meet live weekly. You'll have access to the recorded sessions if you can't make them. I will also provide downloadable documents and guides to enhance your learning.
Our live sessions are an integral part of the program, designed to provide you with an interactive and enriching learning experience. During these sessions, you can expect a dynamic blend of activities, including: Discussions: Engage in insightful discussions where we explore various aspects of the art world, share ideas, and dive deep into relevant topics. Concepts and Ideas: I will personally guide you through important concepts, strategies, and creative ideas that will enhance your art practice. Live Painting Classes: Join me for live painting classes, where you'll have the opportunity to watch, learn, and practice advanced techniques in real-time. Critiques: Receive valuable feedback on your work as part of our constructive critique sessions. This process is instrumental in helping you refine your skills and artistic vision. Q & A's: Participate in question-and-answer sessions where you can seek clarification, discuss challenges, and gain deeper insights into your work. Our live sessions foster a sense of community and provide a platform for you to connect with fellow artists, share your experiences, and receive personalized guidance on your artistic journey.
In addition to the live sessions, we recommend dedicating 3-5 hours per week to fully engage with the program materials and assignments.
